Mobility & inequalities: a major challenge for the ecological turning point – 24 April
Mobility & inequalities: a major challenge for the ecological turning point – 24 April
Mobility and inequality are two concepts that are rarely confronted on a daily basis. Yet inequalities have a major impact on the way we travel. Gender, income, age, territory, nationality…. Research shows we are not all equal when it comes to mobility.
Given the need to rethink the way we travel, surely it’s time to envisage fairer and more environmentally friendly mobility for each and every one?
By encouraging dialogue between researchers, civil society actors, and students, this interactive conference (in French), organised by Forum Vies Mobiles, École urbaine de Sciences Po, and the Mouvements association, will reflect on this issue and give rise to debate and proposals.
With:
- Cécile Duflot, former French minister and currently director of Oxfam France
- Caroline Gallez, research director at Laboratoire Ville Mobilité, Université Gustave Eiffel
- Tom Dubois, spokesperson, Forum Vies Mobiles
